The Berlinale, a competitive film festival founded in 1951, is a unique space for artistic exploration and cinematic discovery. It takes place every year in Berlin, Germany. As one of the largest public film festivals in the world, it attracts tens of thousands of spectators from all over the globe.
This year, the 76th edition runs from February 12 to 22 and is resolutely political, progressive, and engaged. It highlights films that explore international tensions, family life and intimacy under pressure, as well as resilience in the face of power structures. The festival’s editorial line year after year prioritizes bold voices, diverse perspectives, and auteur-driven storytelling.
This year, we are showcasing four films that stood out in the most recent editions.
