Justine Martin is a screenwriter and director based in Montreal who is a Cinema Graduate from Concordia University. Feminism, environmental awareness, and childhood are themes that inspire her stories. In 2021, she directed her first short documentary, Oasis, which was notably featured at IDFA, Dok Leipzig, and Clermont-Ferrand. In 2023, she directed Carnaval, her second short documentary, which was selected, among others, by the Quebec City Film Festival and the DOC-Cévennes Festival. She is currently developing her next fiction film while also working on writing a web series.
